Fallen Angel Ep. 1 (Pt1)

"Eye-widening Details"

From the use of camera blurs to 3D modeling of vehicles to the choice of sound fx/soundtrack, the attention placed into every scene is simply flawless. Of course a longer runtime would've been even better. Definitely looking to the next ep, so hopefully part 2 won't require a few years of production!

I almost started feeling this was inadequate when I got stuck IN the second sliding door during the training mission... maybe some collision testing bug going on?

After replaying, this is a pretty good game, keep up the good work.

Yeah some of my collision testing is wierd... But trust me, it's better than bumping into a wall and seeing your character vibrate back and forth.

Super Mario bros Z ep 6

"Still keeping up the humor"

The Pacman + Dragonball Z "Over 9000" + scouter cracking was just great classic moments =) Great job on the small jokes in the middle of a tense moment, you never fail to impress.

As for the plot itself, it should get interesting now that Mecha Sonic got stripped of the gems. Just don't let it drag on for too long like the actual Dragonball Z series (hint: the ten 30 mins episodes or however many used for "last 5 minutes before Namek blows up")

Overall: Great job, no complaints about another cliffhanger as the episode itself was pretty long and juicy.

Nice listing of both real and fictional weapons :) but I'm not sure how a whip would be stronger than a machete... the "LAWL80" rocket launcher just made me laugh when I hit upgrade.

Nice game overall, though you could use multiple music loops instead of 1.

4 steps to get money faster at the beginning:

1. Buy a knife, forget upgrading pistol/buying extra guns/extra armor /too much extra ammo for now

2. Don't head to the police station, DON'T fight at night (unless you're damn skilled or lucky)

3. Spend some time (during daytime) killing zombies with your knife, usually 2 pistol shots +a knife stab = dead.

4. You should be able to upgrade the knife to a machete (or even whip) pretty quickly, once it's upgraded, you can kill zombies with one hit and not waste any money on ammo.

How you go from there is up to you, I bought the G36 assault and upgraded it to G11 before heading off to the police station, from there it was just shooting/driving around GTA style.

i'm glad you noticed the weapons were based on real guns. i just swapped some letters/numbers around to avoid any possible copyright infringement.

some good pointers, by the way. i agree, except that i like to get my pistol upgraded as quick as possible. the enemies from the second sector don't have much more life than the first.

Bowmaster Prelude

Solid game, any Flash'er who knows Actionscripting knows this was a fine piece of work.

** SPOILER **

What I found:

Forget the 5000 gold upgrades, maybe except lightning. Meteor took forever to recharge AND took forever to build exp/rank. Comet took forever to recharge, built exp pretty fast, but then didn't do much damage against most enemies. Lightning is a bit useful if you know how to combine it with other "combo" attacks like fire/ice/bomb waves, pierce arrow, etc.

The heal arrow isn't as useless as it seems. If you run low on health after fighting outside of the castle for a while, you can just shoot the thing directly downward (yes under the hero) and the entire heal wave will help yourself.

Don't focus too much on building up ALL the arrow/troop stats, as you'll end up in the "a bit of each, but not enough of any" situation:

Choice A: If you like to dominate all on your own, use ice/fire arrows and maybe waves to clear swarms. Pierce arrow was also damn useful if you were fighting a sea of enemies outside, and it's pure ownage seeing 10+ of them fall down cause of 1 arrow :).

Choice B: If you like to camp at the castle/tower while letting troops do the work, I suggest heavy grunts over grunts. Horsebacks can get the flag faster but they tend to be a bit weak at fighting.

If you lose a round, you keep all the gold/exp/skill levels after restarting, so don't be afraid to lose: you can come back much stronger.

For the level 30... "dude" (I don't know its name), don't bother attacking too much when it's using its axe, but use every single arrow you got when it takes off its mask to scratch its head. It's best to use every single arrow, but with bomb as last, since this will knock the thing over and buying you time.

Save Me from the Dark

"It's not special, but..."

it had a good plot to it, something that matched pretty well with the song. Not jaw-dropping animation but I still liked it. Great job, it's added as one of my fav's =)

(surprisingly not one of the many submissions that kill the song it was meant to compliment)

Super Mario Physics

"Unique"

Not many flash movies are entertaining and educational. (had a bit of physics review from it) Seems weird to jump right into waves and sounds without going through basic motion (velocity?) though.

Great job on combining game sprites and science theories =)
